​As I sat in my local Starbucks, eagerly awaiting a meeting with a new couple to plan their wedding photography experience, I began thinking about the past several months, and the wonderful opportunities I've had to not only participate in one of the most important days in the lives of two couples, but commemorate those days for them in photos.  Those amazing people took a chance on a newbie photographer who was more experienced with photographing active kids than quiet ceremonies, and gave to me incredible experiences that I will cherish.  

To Mark and Kelsey: You trusted me with capturing your wedding memories, when I had never photographed a wedding before, and I continue to be overwhelmed by your complete faith in me.  Your beautiful wedding set the bar high, and I can't imagine a more fun bridal party (thanks for letting me capture some playground action!)  I may have given you something to remember from that day, but please know that you gave me much to remember as well.  Your special day will always hold a special place in this green photographer's heart, and I thank you from the bottom of it.

To Isaac and Ruth: I am so grateful that I was able to capture all the fun and hilarity of your wedding, not only as your photographer, but as your friend.  Your wedding holds the record for the most fun of any wedding I've experienced, even as a guest!  Even a little rain couldn't dampen the spirit of fun, friendship, and love that day, and you proved that one can indeed bowl a decent game in formal attire.  Thank you for your faith and kindness, and allowing me to be a part of your love story.

While I am grateful to all the families I've had a chance to photograph (and I will most likely blog another time about that), I wanted to say those things as my way of commemorating in a more official way the special days I've experienced recently.  I am truly blessed.  Thanks, friends.
